Our Trainers

Tracy Bushka has been an AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor for over 15 years. She has taught a variety of classes at 2 different health clubs and at schools.  For 5 years she successfully ran a small studio from her home which maxed its capacity and partnered to open Elite X Training in 2014. Since she maxed out that space, Tracy is sole owner of Peak Training, Inc which opened its doors May of 2015!

It’s a passion to lead a class through an exhausting well-prepared 60 minutes and have the attendees be sweaty but appreciative as they walk out the door.  Tracy has a passion for fitness and is the reason clients get up at 5am to get to class and the reason they get to class after a long hard day at work.  Treating a workout like an appointment is a recipe for success and Tracy will hold you accountable!  She can actually make it fun too.  Become a part of a group….a group with similar fitness goals and have fun doing it.  Tracy is tough, organized, able to modify or push you and experienced to make her classes a workout for the entire body.

Dave Kuhlman N.A.S.M. certified personal trainer. Boot Camp instructor.Dave trimmed
Dave is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Dave is a 3 time Chicago Marathon finisher and a veteran of multiple 5k, 10k and half marathons as well as several adventure races. Dave takes a more complete approach to overall fitness by combining multiple disciplines to achieve a total body workout.
Dave is well versed in boxing, kettle bells, plyometrics, core strengthening, agility work, weight training, battling ropes, and sledgehammer training and typically employs a generous mix of all of these over the course of an hour long training session. Dave’s Boot Camp regimen can be tailored from the seasoned athlete to clients brand new and has been referred to as “Tough but not impossible.” To quote Dave’s personal fitness philosophy, “We aren’t here to set any world records, just personal ones.” Dave has 3 years of experience leading boot camp and kettle bell classes and is thrilled to be joining the dedicated fitness team at Peak Training! JoAnn teaches a variety of classes that include:
ZUMBA, ZUMBA STRENGTH, BOOT CAMP, TABATA, STRENGTH, STRETCH, SENIOR CHAIR STRENGTH
She currently teaches Zumba at Good Samaritan Health and Wellness Center, which is a medical based fitness center, for six years. She has also enjoyed teaching Zumba for Elmhurst Hospital, Oakbrook Terrace Fitness Center, and Cadence Health Center.

 

Amanda Bryant first came to yoga because she felt exhausted and overextended. She loved the peace and clarity yoga gave her and has been practicing ever since. In 2009, Amanda enrolled in Moksha Yoga Center’s highly respected teacher training program and obtained her certification upon completing the year-long training. She is very thankful to have had the opportunity to study with FullSizeRender (10)teachers like Daren Friesen, Daylene Christensen and Gabriel Halpern. In her own teaching, Amanda treasures the ability to share the centered feeling yoga gives her with others. She enjoys watching her students find the ability to focus inward and rely on themselves for inner peace and strength. If nothing else, she wants to be able to give everyone a moment to breathe, sit tall and focus, leaving the often stressfull aspects of life outside of class. She believes that in an often overwhelming world, the simple act of slowing down and taking a full, well intended breath can work wonders for any soul. Amanda teaches Vinyasa Flow as well as more intensive workshops that always have a concentrated focus. From week to week, she chooses an area of the body or theme and structures her class around that concept or function. In doing so, she encourages her students to spend an hour concentrating on a single element that they may neglect in their day-to-day lives. You will leave Amanda’s class feeling focused, relaxed and rejuvenated.

 

 

Jill Allaway  Newly certified in Zumba, Jill is passionate and fun!  She really gets her class movin’ and shakin’.  It’s always a party!  Jill is a Lombard resistant and Art teacher full-time in Berwyn.

 

 

Lisa Sawczuk has been a Certified ESSENTRICS Instructor since 2015 and traveled to Montreal in July 2016 to train with the program creator.  She has always been active engaging in many forms of exercise and enjoy outdoor activities, especially bicycle riding. Years of battling sciatica for 25+ years and being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis began to take its toll on her posture and balance. While adding ESSENTRICS to her regular exercise routine, she started feeling better and better with more energy and decreased pain. Her passion quickly became bringing the benefits of ESSENTRICS to others. Lisa also works full-time and enjoys spending time with her husband and adult children in addition to teaching ESSENTRICS classes.

 

Gabe Exiner is the head golf professional at Crystal Tree Country Club in Orland Park, IL. With 19 years experience as a PGA professional, he has helped hundreds of golfers gain skill and enjoyment from their game.

 

 

Denice Smith  Denice is a very experienced Yoga instructor and Peak is lucky to have her! Denice has worked in the fitness field since she was 16 years old.  She has been a personal trainer for ten years.  Denice started practicing Bikram Yoga eight years ago and knew there was more to yoga then just Bikram and ventured out to Vinyasa and Yin loving both.  She started practicing five times a week as a compliment to her gym routines.  She felt so many changes in her body, life and soul.  She says ‘yoga makes her feel calm, at ease and just all over wonderful.”  In 2015 Denice decided to leave the Corporate world as a paralegal and just do her Personal Training.  She fell in love with yoga more and more and wanted to give away what she had received through her journey.  She dove into 200 hour teacher training in the winter of 2016 and is now certified and also in Yoga Sculpt too. Kelly Rojas is a veteran of the fitness industry. She was certified as a group exercise instructor over 15 years ago and enjoyed it so much she worked full time as a health club manager. She eventually became a personal trainer and earned additional instructor certifications in spin, kickboxing, step and Tai Chi. As a personal trainer she gets to do more hands-on work with her clients, drawing from all those years of unparalleled experience. Kelly is a veteran marathoner, loves to teach fitness, and being outdoors.
